How to use BeFi Wallet

A brief introduction on how to install and use the BeFi Wallet Chrome Extension.

Installing the BeFi Wallet Web Chrome Extension

There are two simple ways to install the BeFi Wallet Web Extension.

1. Go to www.befiwalletdao.com and click on the download options.
2. Go to Chrome web store and search for 'Befi' or can also be download via link https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/befi/gmcpomojcoaopogcbhpchfpdpfaabihc

How to Create a BeFi Wallet ID Wallet

• Open the BeFi Wallet Web Extension.

• Tap on "Get Started" button.

• Set a password and check the password.

• Users can create an address or import a private key/mnemonic. To create a new wallet, tap on the "Create Address" button to open the "Select the main chain" page.

• In the pop-up window, check to add different chains.

• Tap on the "OK" button to finish the process.

• After you've successfully created your BeFi ID wallet, you can back up your mnemonic word.

• Write down or copy the 12 words in order and keep them in a safe place (an isolated network), then tap on the "OK" button.

• On the "Verify mnemonic word" page, tap the correct word according to the question. If you tap correctly, you can see the sign 'imported successfully'.

Web Extension Overview

There are 2 tabs on the bottom of the app leading to different sections.

1. Wallet

   • On the "Wallet" page, you can view, send, receive, and manage your assets.

   • On "Wallet" page, top on the "+" button beside 'My Assets'.

   • In the pop-up window, tapo on the image of the chain that you want to add.

   • You can view, send, receive, and manage your assets by tapping the icon of the token.

2. Setting

• Setting > Chains

  • On "Wallet" page, tap on "Setting ****" button at the bottom.

  • In the pop-up window, tap on ‘Chains’ and check to add different chains, then tap on "OK" button.

• Setting > Advanced > Edit Name

  • On "Wallet" page, tap on "Setting ****" button at the bottom.

  • In the pop-up window, tap on ‘Advanced’ to edit name or export mnemonic.

  • Tap on ‘Edit Name’ to edit wallet name, then tap on "OK" button.

• Setting > Advanced > Export Mnemonic

  • On "Wallet" page, tap on "Setting ****" button at the bottom.

  • In the pop-up window, tap on ‘Advanced’ to edit the name or export mnemonic.

  • Tap on ‘Export Mnemonic’ to export mnemonic words.

  • Press your own password that you set initially when creating a wallet, then tap on ‘Ok’ to verify password.

  • If you’ve put password correctly, you can have ‘12 mnemonic words’.
